We have seen it all before! Myers Briggs, DISC, Jungian personality types. All of these give us an idea about a persons personality and how they might perform in certain roles or how best to develop them. And some times it works! But how often does this become a labeling exercise where people say. “Oh yeah – I’m a plant!” or “See her over there, she’s an INTJ – keep away from her!” Labeling is disabling. Simmons is different. Having seen over 90 reports for graduates within BT this difference is very apparent. They may not like what they see as the report is like a mirror. Simmons shows how they really are. A skilled facilitator will help them deal with the initial resistance and to see the opportunities for development. My own personal experience of the report was also quite revealing. As you are aware, we utilize your Simmons Survey for cjAdvertising, our full-service Ad Agency and Legal Intake Professionals, our 24/7 Answering Service. Regardless if the employee is entry-level hourly or a higher paid salary employee, the survey is instrumental in not only determining the best candidate and fit for the position, but also how to manage the employee. In the few times we have disregarded elements in the survey, after termination of the employee, I have pulled out his/her survey and the characteristics that resulted in the termination or the lack of managing the employee by the results of the survey, is almost always contained in the survey.
I highly recommend your services to any company who wants to hire and manage their employees better and to reduce turn over and employment expenses.
